Shellacked, unpainted spear thrower. The handle has a deep recess carved for the index finger and grooves to fit the thumb and 3 remaining fingers. The handle is made for a right hander and is intended to fit a young person's hand. The tip of the spear thrower has a small carved bird head glued to the spear thrower. The bird beak serves to hold the spear end in place. 16"L x 2 3/4"W (at its widest point) x 3/4"D.
