AKRISE Monthly MeetUp for Rural Teachers Next Tuesday

The AKRISE Monthly MeetUp is virtual space to connect, share ideas, and learn from Alaska educators.

This month’s MeetUp will feature Laura and Madelyn Davis, a middle school teacher and daughter from the Wrangell School District talking about amplifying student voices.

Colleen Fisk, Energy Director at Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) will discuss engaging, culturally relevant resources for teaching energy efficiency and renewable energy.

Christina Garza of Annette Island School District will present on making MAP data work in the classroom.

The Monthly MeetUp is January 11 from 4:30 – 5:45.
