The Alaska Smart Start Summer Virtual Summit 2020 kicked off this week with a presentation by DEED Commissioner Dr. Michael Johnson and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anne Zink.
Have you registered yet? It’s not too late! Participants can register at any time for this opportunity to learn and engage with education stakeholders. Attend all the sessions, or pick and choose which sessions are most relevant to you.
Educators are eligible to register for UAA credit for participation in the Virtual Summit! Interested educators must register before August 10.

The Virtual Summit invites teachers, parents, district staff, tribal leaders, community members, and education stakeholders to interact daily with expert guest speakers, network with a statewide community of learners, and collectively plan for the conditions, continuity, and capacities for learning in the upcoming school year through the recently revised Alaska Smart Start 2020: Restart & Reentry Framework Guidance for K-12 Schools.
