Don’t miss these great opportunities to learn more about COVID-19 and to have your COVID-19 questions addressed by experts!

 

Classroom Teacher ECHO: Join Dr. Anne Zink and Commissioner Johnson with Alaska’s Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), will host a series of information sessions specifically for Alaska’s current classroom teachers. The recurring sessions will focus on health considerations, answering questions from the field, and establishing a safe school environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

 

School Health ECHO: Alaska’s Department of Education and Early Development (DEED), in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), will host a series of school health information sessions intended for superintendents, principals, and school health leaders. The recurring sessions will focus on health considerations, answering questions from the field, and establishing a safe school environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

 

Large Gatherings and Community Events ECHO: This call is designed for coaches and organizers of youth sporting and recreational events to learn how to best respond when they get a call from parents reporting positive cases or close contacts amongst players or family members. 

 

 

COVID-19 Science ECHO: Intended for the general public to interface with Public Health Leadership to explore the science of the COVID-19 virus and current best practices.
