Sports and Activities During COVID-19

On Monday July 13th at 2 pm Alaska’s Chief Medical Officer and Chief Epidemiologist, Drs. Anne Zink and Dr. Joe McLaughlin, will discuss considerations for coaches and organizers of sports for youth and students. They will be joined by the Alaska School Activities Association Executive Director Billy Strickland who will discuss the work being done to develop a set of guidelines to help schools and student return responsibly to athletic activities. Meghan Festa, public relations specialist at Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks will share the resources they created for youth sport teams.
