New Teacher Talks on Thursdays

DEED is launching a new series starting September 3^rd! Designed for new teachers and new-to-Alaska teachers, the series will start with a focus on relationship building.

It’s DEED’s mission to provide an excellent education for every student every day. Therefore, focusing on relationship building will improve the safety and well-being of students through school partnerships with families, communities, and tribes.

The class outcomes will be to:

• Gain confidence and success in building classroom communities
• Develop strategies to build relationships with students, families, community members, and fellow teachers
• Offer opportunities for connections and networking
