Family Partnerships

Students and families should actively engage in school-wide planning and implementation efforts to address trauma. These efforts include the development of school-wide policy, protocol, and guidelines to create a trauma-informed school climate and to implement trauma-informed practices. Schools should embrace practices that incorporate peer and parent support and guidance.
