Alaska School Counselor Association announces 2020 award winners

The Alaska School Counselor Association has named Elizabeth Congdon-McGee of the Whaley School in Anchorage as the 2020 School Counselor of the Year. Kris Busk, of the Bering Strait School District, has been named as the 2020 Advocate for School Counseling. Congdon-McGee has worked at Whaley School since 2000, and Busk began working with BSSD counselors in 2016.
