Aklearns Weekly Event Schedule

DEED launched its Teaching and Learning Support website aklearns.org last month in response to COVID-19 and the need to shift to distance-delivered education. The site helps provide information, resources, and leadership to teachers and school leaders across Alaska, and serves as a clearinghouse to share great ideas gleaned from a variety of locations and sources.

While the site was developed with educators in mind, it hosts many resources for families and students to assist with the transition to distance-delivered education. The site is added to daily, so check back for new resources!

In addition to the many tools, resources, and publications on the site, the site also hosts an events calendar with a wide variety of opportunities for educators and families. Check the events schedule for opportunities that range from story times, to distance learning support, to professional development opportunities.
