Building Resiliency through Education
Building Resiliency through Education
Did you attend the Classroom Teacher ECHO series this summer? If so, you may recall that the Classroom Teacher ECHO series was taking a break and transitioning to the Alaska Education Network (Project ECHO). The series will be starting up again with ECHO sessions in October. The motto for this implementation is “Building Resiliency through Education”. All sessions will use the ZOOM platform.
The Project ECHO team is in the recruitment phase of seeking didactic presenters for the three networks:
- Positive Behavior, Safety & Well-Being
Selected Mondays from 3:45 - 5:00 PM
This strand of ECHO Sessions provides information and resources in the areas of increasing positive behavior, creating safe environments and obtaining wellness at the individual or group or program levels.
- Educational Leadership
Selected Tuesdays from 3:45 - 5:00 PM
This strand of ECHO Sessions provides topics and problem-solving ideas that pertain to leading a group., program and/or school
Instructional Development
Selected Wednesdays from 3:45 - 5:00 PM
This strand of ECHO Sessions provides supportive ideas that can be applied at the classroom level.
Educators interested in presenting should submit the Didactic Presentation Form.
Do you need a problem solved? A 'Problem of Practice" is an opportunity to brainstorm solutions to a challenge you may be facing and most likely your colleagues around the state are as well. Think of them as 'questions of practice'. They can be at an individual level, classroom level, program level or school level. Problems are not shared with other ECHO participants until the day of the problem of practice presentation when it is shared via Zoom and from a developed narrative that we work with you on. Submit your problem through the Problem of Practice Form
