Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Educator Training

This eLearning module is a free resource provided by the Department of Education & Early Development to assist schools in complying with Alaska Statute 18.66.310, which requires all mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect to also receive continuing education on domestic violence.

This course also satisfies the training requirement under 14.30.356, required training on dating, violence, and abuse awareness and prevention. Under the Alaska Safe Children’s Act, training on dating violence and abuse awareness and prevention will be required for those seeking teacher certificates beginning June 30, 2017.
