Alaska Early Education Program
Standards
The Alaska Early Education Program Standards (EEP Standards) were developed in response to the Alaska Reads Act, passed in May 2022 [Sec 14.07.165(a)(5)(A)]. They serve as a framework for early education programs that provide pre-elementary classrooms. Implementing these standards is a requirement for district-wide early education programs to qualify for formula funding (0.5 ADM).
NOTICE: Revision to the Alaska Early Education Program Standards was approved by the State Board of Education on October 9, 2025.
