Procurement Training - Informal

This training session is designed to provide an overview of the informal procurement process. Proper procurement methods are required for all program participants in the National School Lunch Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, and Summer Food Service Program. The objectives of this course will to impart the basics for micro-purchases and small purchases, understanding when and how to use the informal procurement method, how to use the informal procurement process to easily purchase local food, and the importance of documentation.
