Renewal & Replacement Schedule by Facility
Overview
A renewal and replacement schedule identifies, for each school facility of permanent construction over 1,000 gross square feet, the construction cost of major building systems, including electrical, mechanical, structural and other components; evaluates and establishes the life-expectancy of those systems; compares life-expectancy to the age and condition of the systems; and uses the data to forecast a renewal and replacement year and cost for each system.
Instructions
Under drop down menu select the district; next select the attendance area; then select a facility. On the left bar select the systems of interest.
Estimated Cost to Replace is based on an assigned percentage of the facility replacement cost per system.
Anticipated Replacement Year is based on department standard system life cycle ages, as potentially modified by district personnel assessment of condition. If there is no est. cost to replace, the system has more than 10 years of anticipated life remaining.
