Alaska Native Language Strategic Plan

Link to Strategic Plan
The Alaska Native Language Strategic Plan is a document designed to promote literacy in Alaska Native languages. It outlines the support areas identified by school districts, teachers, families, tribes, and DEED staff to collaborate on the common goal of developing literacy in these languages. This strategic plan aims to address frequently identified needs faced by efforts to promote Alaska Native languages. While not all topics are directly related to K-12 education, they are included in the plan because language partners have identified them as essential for enhancing literacy in Alaska Native languages and culture.
