Alaska Native Language Summit
May 1, 2025, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Dena’ina Civic Convention Center, Anchorage, Alaska
Description: The Summit will take place in the traditional homelands of the Dena’ina Peoples. We honor this tradition with our theme in the Dena’ina language, Ts’ił Nich’dalggezh, “We Are Gathering Together.” We invite all Alaska Native language groups to unite in uplifting, sharing, and working towards a healthy future for our communities. By coming together, we can support our languages in a meaningful way that helps us progress and prepare for the future. This space is dedicated to providing instructional support for our Alaska Native language teachers, workers, learners, and educational staff by equipping them with the tools needed to teach the next generation of language speakers.
