The Alaska Department of Education has been awarded a federal Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant to strengthen literacy outcomes from birth through grade 12. Subgrants are awarded through a competitive process aligned to U.S. Department of Education requirements, with clear action steps and monitoring expectations to ensure effective implementation and responsible stewardship of federal funds. 1. Alaska Vendor Guide: Application Opportunity
The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) has partnered with Rivet Education to identify and approve professional learning providers qualified to support CLSD grant activities through high-quality, evidence-based literacy professional development.
Applications are now open for Curriculum-Independent Literacy Providers seeking inclusion on the approved provider list. Submissions are due by Wednesday, March 4, at 1:00 p.m. ASKT. For any questions, please contact tieagra.mcneil@riveteducation.org.
